A noise barrier (also called a soundwall, sound berm, sound barrier, or acoustical barrier) is an exterior structure designed to protect sensitive land uses from noise pollution. Noise barriers are the most effective method of mitigating roadway, railway, and industrial noise sources-other than cessation of the source activity or use of source controls.

RB series of noise barriers are mainly applied to highways, viaducts, railways and other traffic conditions to reduce noise pollution. It consists of steel columns, sound-proof and sound-absorbing panels, with full consideration of the problems of wind load in elevated high-speed roads, crash safety for vehicles, and outdoor corrosion protection.

 

The main materials are alloy plate, GE transparent plate or double laminated glass. These materials are used to prevent barriers from being damaged in collision. In fact, glasses firmly sticked on the film don’t scatter to avoid pedestrian injuries and vehicle damages. Imported double glazed compound glass can be provided per clients' needs.
